Social Analyst

£16.2 - £18.8 per hourEstimated
Full-time

We’re on the hunt for a curious, sharp-as-a-tack Social Analyst to help lead insights for one of the world’s most ambitious destination brands.

If your idea of reporting is dumping impressions into a spreadsheet and calling it a day, this isn't the gig for you. We need someone who can dive into a sea of social noise, spot the patterns, answer the "why," and tell us what to actually do next.

Who You Are

  • A Signal Finder: You effortlessly navigate social listening tools, campaign performance, audience data, and cultural trends to pull out the stuff that actually matters
  • Driven by "Why": You look past vanity metrics like simple likes and views to understand human behavior and cultural momentum
  • A Data Storyteller: You turn complex, messy datasets into crystal-clear insights that strategists, creative teams, and client leads can immediately act on
  • Globally Minded: You know that what works in London might flop in Tokyo, and you naturally spot local market nuances instead of applying a lazy copy-paste approach
  • Fluent Across Tools: Dashboards, social listening setups, and massive spreadsheets don't scare you—they're your playground
  • Clear & Direct: You present your findings with conviction, skipping the academic fluff and getting straight to the point

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Global Social Intelligence: Own social listening, reporting, and performance tracking across key international markets
  • Connect the Dots: Blend organic content, paid media, audience shifts, and wider business performance into one cohesive narrative
  • Feed the Creative Engine: Give strategists and creative teams the cold, hard behavioral evidence they need to write killer briefs
  • Catch the Next Big Wave: Spot emerging cultural conversations and viral moments early enough for the brand to jump on them
  • Build Actionable Reports: Deliver clean, decision-focused reporting and benchmarks that track real progress over time—not just vanity stats
  • Filter Through EMOD: Use our Entertainment Principles (EMOD) to analyze what genuinely earns attention and drives engagement across regions

What You’ll Bring

  • 4 years in social analytics, social listening, research, or digital insights
  • Proven mastery of social listening tools, analytics dashboards, and serious spreadsheet magic (Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Hands-on experience tracking performance across multi-market, global campaigns
  • Sharp communication skills: you write cleanly and present complex findings to senior stakeholders with total confidence
  • Experience in travel, tourism, or similarly complex global consumer brands is a massive plus
