Assistant Headteacher - Quality of Education

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and experienced Assistant Headteacher to lead on Quality of Education , with a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a passion for inclusive education, to drive high standards of teaching, learning and curriculum provision across Oscott Manor School.
The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership, drive continuous improvement and ensure high-quality learning opportunities that enable all young people to thrive. Applicants must hold QTS and a degree, have successful leadership experience, and demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding, high expectations, staff development and pupil-centred practice.
Purpose of the Role:
To drive up standards of teaching, learning and assessment across the academy.
To lead and develop the delivery of a high-quality curriculum offer.
To work collaboratively as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
To take a leading role in the Strategic Planning of the Academy and of specific projects as required.
To operate and manage activities within allocated areas of specialism.
Areas of Responsibility : Curriculum design; Progress data and tracking; Learning interventions; Quality Assurance of Teaching and Learning and Line Management of Curriculum areas as deployed and additional whole school responsibilities as outlined by the Headteacher.
