Berry Recruitment is recruiting for a Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef to join a busy hospitality venue in the Falmouth area.
This role is available for an immediate start and offers ongoing work for the right candidate. The kitchen operates at a high volume during peak service periods, making it suitable for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to a smooth-running service.
Key Duties
- Preparing and cooking dishes in line with menu specifications
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen
- Working on the pass and coordinating orders during service
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Supporting stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Working closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver service efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
- Confident working the pass and managing service flow
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitche
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen procedures
- Relevant catering qualifications are advantageous but not essential
