Field Service Engineer/Inspector

With over 125 years of industry experience , WH Scott Group is a trusted leader serving clients across Europe. With offices throughout Ireland and the UK, we are expanding our team and now seeking  Field Service Engineers/Inspectors to join our Northern Ireland based operations.

The Role

As a Field Service Inspector , you will play a vital role in ensuring equipment is tested, inspected, maintained, and safe for use . You will operate to high safety and inspection standards while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys, inspections, maintenance, and repairs according to planned schedules.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure excellent customer service.
• Accurately utilize operational systems and maintain records.
• Produce and distribute inspection and maintenance reports professionally.
• Perform assessments and repairs as required.
• Occasionally assist with workshop and assembly duties.
• Stay updated on industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
• Adhere to company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Undertake training and professional development as required.
• Coach and mentor colleagues when needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in maintenance, installation, service, or commissioning .
• Experience in utilities maintenance is preferred but not essential.
• EUSR Water Hygiene Card is desirable but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with lifting devices and material handling equipment is advantageous.
• Full, valid driving license .
• Strong computer skills , with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Solid understanding of health and safety principles .
