Senior Mechanical EngineerThe Role:
As part of a multi-disciplined team and a modern Engineering department, this role involves the continuous improvement of the Company’s world leading products through leading-edge mechanical design. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be expected to implement effective mechanical design solutions to ensure the companies MOCVD systems remain at the forefront of technology.
Your Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design of the Company’s bespoke special purpose scientific equipment.
- Under the guidance of principal engineers they will provide detailed designs for sub-systems and components.
- You will adopt the working practices of a modern engineering office and a company wide quality system.
- Responsible for adhering to standards that AIXTRON Ltd set to ensure safety at work, which includes following procedures, handling machinery and substances correctly, and participating in any safety training required. You will find the core Health and Safety responsibilities in the Health and Safety System Overview document.
