Warehouse Operative - £14.78 To £26.17
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering up to £26.17 per hour, rotating or permanent night shifts, ongoing work, overtime opportunities, modern facilities and genuine career progression within a well-established logistics operation.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative , Picker Packer , Order Picker , Warehouse Assistant , Production Operative , Goods In Operative , Goods Out Operative , or Logistics Operative .
Shifts
- Rotating Shift: Monday to Friday - 07:00 to 15:00 / 15:00 to 23:00 - Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday - 23:00 to 07:00
Rates of Pay
- £14.78 to £26.17 per hour - 37 hours per week - Weekly pay - Overtime paid at 1.5x

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Warehouse Operative , your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting manufacturing processes within a busy warehouse and production environment - Moving materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently - Loading and unloading goods - Feeding production lines where required - Using hand tools and cutting equipment safely - Carrying out basic assembly and product preparation tasks - Completing stock checks and basic documentation accurately - Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment - Working closely with warehouse, production and manufacturing teams to achieve daily targets
Essential Skills
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous warehouse and/or manufacturing experience - Confidence using hand tools and related equipment - A reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to work - The ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times - Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment - Experience using hand tools or production equipment - Experience working towards productivity and quality targets
Training Provided
- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
