Platers Required - Immingham

We are currently recruiting experienced Platers for a project based in Immingham.

This role involves carrying out over-plating repair work, fabrication, fitting, and installation activities within a heavy industrial environment. Candidates must be able to work from engineering drawings and complete work to a high standard while adhering to strict safety procedures.

working Pattern:

* 12 days on, 2 days off
* 07:00 - 18:00 daily
* 10 hours paid per day

Pay Rates (Self-Employed):

* £275 per day Mon-Fri
* £375 per day weekend
* £25.00 per hour for the first 8 hours worked each day
* £37.50 per hour for all hours worked over 8 hours per day
* £37.50 per hour for weekend working

The Role:

* Carrying out over-plating and repair work
* Measuring, marking out, fabricating and fitting steel plate
* Working from engineering drawings and specifications
* Installing and aligning fabricated components
* Working safely at height when required
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to specification
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Plater within heavy industrial environments
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience carrying out structural steelwork, repairs, and modifications
* Must hold a valid Working at Height Certificate
* Comfortable working at height in an industrial environment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards
* Previous experience within industrial, structural steel, petrochemical, refinery, marine, or heavy engineering environments is advantageous
