The Manager, GSS Operational Intelligence and Assurance, supports the Regional Head of Security by providing a comprehensive, data-led understanding of security conditions, operational performance, emergency preparedness, and control effectiveness across the Visa Europe Region.

The role brings together information from guarding operations, Security Operations Center activity, physical security systems, incidents, events, travel programs, and assurance activities, transforming it into clear operational intelligence, dashboards, and visualizations. These insights will enable regional leadership to identify emerging risks, evaluate current performance, direct corrective action, and make informed operational decisions.

Working across security operations, technology, compliance, and analytics, the post-holder will assess not only whether security systems and controls are in place, but whether they are being used effectively by guarding and SOC teams and are delivering the intended outcomes. The role will support emergency preparedness and provide timely intelligence and action tracking during significant incidents or crises.

The position will also support security system design, programming, and operational handover, deliver risk-based second-line control testing, strengthen GSS data and reporting capabilities, and contribute to the responsible development of automation and artificial intelligence solutions for the wider Global Security and Safety function.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in physical security operations, SOC environments, guarding assurance, and emergency preparedness.
• Practical knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarm, and incident-management systems, including their programming, operation, and handover.
• Advanced analytical capability, including SQL, Power BI, and the ability to convert complex operational data into clear intelligence and visualizations.
• Experience in compliance, second-line control testing, audit support and corrective-action management.
• Ability to support incident and crisis response by rapidly analyzing information, maintaining situational awareness, and tracking actions.
• Excellent stakeholder, communication, and change-management skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear recommendations for senior leaders and operational teams.
• Advanced presence and the ability to influence and build credibility as a "trusted advisor" with stakeholders from regional functions and geographies.
• Proficient ability to work independently and effectively in a complex environment with multi-location team structure.
• Advanced follow-up skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task, have leadership presence, strong team-orientation and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and strong analytical skills.
• Specialized certifications, associations, and memberships desired.
