Production Operative (Wash Plant - Full Training Provided - Backshift)

We want Albert Bartlett to be a world famous household brand, renowned for quality and expertise in own label and branded potatoes and potato products. We aim to be an innovative and improving company that exceeds our customers’ expectations while operating in an environmentally responsible and sustainable way. We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives (Wash Plant) at our facility in Airdrie. This role involves working on the wash plant, ensuring potatoes are washed and prepared appropriately for production. Full training will be provided for this position. Shift & Hours of work: Sunday 0900 - 1700, & Monday to Thursday 1700 - 0100. Salary: £12.71 per hour plus 50p per hour backshift premium. ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor washing equipment to ensure potatoes are cleaned according to quality standards.Carry out routine checks and maintenance of wash plant machinery to ensure efficient operation.Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the wash plant area.Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines.Requirements No previous experience necessary as full training will be provided.Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Physically fit to handle standing for long periods and manual tasks.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to work backshift hours reliably.
