We're looking for an experienced RRV Operators to join our Rail team on a zero-hours PAYE basis , operating On Track Plant safely and efficiently across projects nationwide.

This role offers flexibility , but you’ll need to be available to work around changing project requirements, including potentially short-notice shifts, weekends and nights. As a safety-critical role, you'll work closely with the Machine/Crane Controller and POS Representative to ensure plant operations are delivered safely and in line with Network Rail requirements.

What you’ll do;

• Safely operate OTP on rail projects under the direction of the Machine/Crane Controller or POS Representative.

• Complete daily and pre-use checks and ensure machinery is safe and fit for service.

• Only operate machinery for which you hold the relevant competence and Authority to Work.

• Liaise with controllers, POS representatives and site teams.

• Follow instructions, RAMS and safe systems of work.

• Ensure plant remains within gauge and operates within lifting limitations and the Lift Plan.

• Work safely around ALO requirements and other rail operational constraints.

• Maintain a methodical, proactive approach to all work.

• Be flexible and responsive to project requirements and changing shift patterns.

What we’re looking for;

• Minimum 2 years' relevant OTP experience .

• Current Sentinel competence for the relevant OTP machine types.

• Only operate machinery for which you are fully qualified and competent.

• Network Rail Detailed ALO Knowledge Briefing.

• Full clean UK driving licence.

• Good understanding of safe working practices and relevant legislation.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Organised, reliable and methodical approach.

• Good attention to detail.

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.

• Flexibility and availability to work around changing project requirements, including nights, weekends and potentially short-notice shifts.
