Employment Solicitor

Employment Solicitor, 5+ Years' PQE, Birmingham, £75,000+ (DOE) – This is an excellent opportunity for a talented lawyer with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience to take ownership of high-quality work, advise a diverse client base, and play a key role in the continued growth of our Employment practice. JOB REF: 4432.

THE ROLE:
• Manage your own caseload, handling everything from day-to-day advisory work to Employment Tribunal litigation.
• Provide pragmatic, commercial advice to employer clients on a wide range of employment matters, including TUPE, reorganisations, contracts of employment, workplace policies, disciplinary and grievance issues, and senior executive exits.
• Take ownership of Employment Tribunal claims from initial instructions through to drafting pleadings, case management and advocacy where appropriate.
• Mentor and support junior lawyers, sharing knowledge and helping to develop the team's talent.
• Build and strengthen client relationships while contributing to networking, marketing initiatives and business development activities.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Employment Solicitors with a minimum of 5 Years PQE
• A strong track record of advising employer clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Experience managing Employment Tribunal claims from start to finish.
• Sound knowledge of TUPE and employment issues arising from mergers and acquisitions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability with the confidence to provide clear, commercially focused advice.
