Job description

Assist the Registered Manager in the provision and management of an efficient and effective domiciliary care service provided. Be responsible for the day to day management of a supported living house setting. Lead a team in the house setting, cultivating a positive work culture, enabling staff development and effective team working that delivers a high quality and person-centred service. Work at all times in a positive and co-operative manner reflective of the organisation’s ethos and values and ensuring a high quality service. Work with the management team, service users, families and other professionals. Be responsible for ensuring that the care and support services are provided to the highest standards. Monitor and report service users’ mental, emotional and physical health and wellbeing.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Level 3 RCF (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or allied professional qualification.
• Two years' experience in similar setting.
• A good standard of written and verbal communication and reasoning skills.
• Good computer skills.

Desirable Skills

• RQF (or equivalent) Level 5 in Health & Social Care or allied professional qualification.
• Experience working with external agencies, health care professionals and liaising with families.
• Leadership and supervisory skills.
• Full clean driving licence.
