Pre-Press Artworker Rotherham, South Yorkshire Salary £28k-32k + Bonus & BUPA after 6 months. Are you a natural at building customer relationships, with a creative eye and a head for detail? Our client is looking for a Pre-Press Artworker to join their team, helping customers bring their branding projects to life — from first enquiry through to finished, print-ready artwork. About the role This is a hybrid role combining consultative sales, creative design, and order management. You'll manage inbound enquiries, understand customer needs and budgets, and convert leads into confirmed sales — then turn your attention to designing compelling, high-quality artwork that meets production specifications. You'll also coordinate with suppliers and keep customers updated as their projects move through production. What you'll be doing Managing customer enquiries and converting leads into salesAdvising customers on design, materials, finishes, and branding optionsProducing high-quality, print-ready artworkProcessing orders accurately and ensuring margins are metCoordinating with suppliers to keep production on trackMaintaining and reporting on your sales pipeline What we're looking for Proven experience in a customer-facing sales roleProficient in Adobe IllustratorStrong design skills, with experience producing print-ready artworkA confident, consultative communicatorExcellent organisational skills — you'll be juggling multiple projects and deadlinesCommercial awareness and a keen eye for detail Experience in print, graphics, branding, or large-format design is a bonus, as is familiarity with CRM or order management systems such as QuickBooks.
