We are seeking a qualified Children Social Worker to join our Assessment and Intervention Team in Torquay, earning £42.00 per hour on an ongoing, full-time basis. Manage a caseload of 20-24 cases, including complex Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases, ensuring compliance with statutory duties.
Work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to safeguard children and promote their well-being.
Participate in the duty rota, covering duty one full week every three weeks, being responsive to crisis situations and Section 47 enquiries.
Provide high-quality reports and evidence for court proceedings when required.
Attend regular supervision sessions to discuss cases and professional development, benefiting from structured support within your team.
