Masstemps Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a full-time CNC Setter/Operator to join a busy and expanding precision engineering company based in the Smethwick area.
Responsibilities and Duties Include:
* Setting and operating CNC Sliding Head Lathes, primarily Citizen and Star machines, to manufacture high-precision components.
* Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of multiple CNC sliding head machines, maintaining quality and productivity standards.
* Carrying out job changeovers, tool changes, and machine setups in line with production schedules.
* Monitoring machining operations and making offset adjustments where required to maintain dimensional accuracy.
* Loading raw materials and conducting first-off inspections before commencing production runs.
* Inspecting finished components using measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other precision inspection tools. Hours of Work Monday - Friday 07:30AM - 16:30PM Pay Rate £15.00 - £19.72 per hour, dependent on experience. Job Benefits & Other Information * Free Parking
