Use AI tools and careful evidence research and review to solve complex legal questions for professional clients. This LegalTech Consulting Analyst role combines AI, Python, SQL and technical investigation with responsibility for accurate, client-ready findings.
The Company
A specialist technology services business combines software, AI-enabled processes and expert review to support demanding client work. This is a hybrid London role, with three days per week in the office. Projects involve technical documents, complex information and high standards of accuracy. Consultants work alongside technical leads and experienced colleagues while taking ownership of defined research and quality-control tasks. The environment suits someone who enjoys variety, precise work and improving how research is delivered.
The Role
As a LegalTech Consulting Analyst, you’ll investigate open-ended questions, analyse technical evidence and turn your findings into clear deliverables. The work draws on coding, structured research and evidence review. You’ll use AI-assisted tools to process information efficiently, then check conclusions against original sources. You’ll also help run and review technology-enabled workflows, spot errors and explain issues to colleagues. With experience, there is scope to shape research methods and take broader responsibility for delivery.
- Investigate technical publications, product information and other evidence sources.
- Build Python and SQL workflows to organise and analyse research material.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research while verifying every material finding.
- Review citations, source matches and complex client documents for accuracy.
- Deliver clear findings and escalate risks with practical recommendations.

Requirements
Must-Have
- A STEM degree background from a top uni and around two years of experience in a client-facing role in a technical environment.
- Some knowledge of Python and SQL, including scripting and querying structured data.
- Experience using AI tools for research, coding or automation, with careful verification.
- Excellent written communication and close attention to technical detail.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to patents, intellectual property or complex legal documents.
- Experience with Git, web research or document-processing workflows.
