West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity to work in a role across both the e-Care (EPMA) Medicines Management Team and the Pharmacy Education & Training Team. We are a Global Digital Exemplar (GDE) Trust with a fully integrated electronic prescribing and medication record system known as e-Care, using Oracle-Cerner Millennium. It is used across the Trust in every aspect of the patient's care, and supports the pharmacy department to improve and monitor the care that we deliver. The e-Care Medicines Management Team consists of a dedicated project manager, specialist pharmacists and specialist pharmacy technicians. It sits within a wider e-Care team consisting of IT specialists, nurses, doctors and other specialist staff. The Pharmacy Education & Training Team consists of specialist pharmacists and specialist pharmacy technicians. What you can expect from us
The right candidate will work alongside the existing Education & Training pharmacist to maintain and deliver medicines management education for the Trust, as well as the education and development for all pharmacy staff. They will also work alongside our existing Lead Pharmacists to jointly co-ordinate the activity of the e-Care Medicines Management team.

- B Pharm/BSc Pharmacy/M Pharm Registered with the GPhC
- Post Graduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy or relevant clinical experience
- Qualified and registered independent prescriber.
- Membership of RCPharm

- Suitable post-registration experience with hospital pharmacy experience
- Knowledge and extensive experience of electronic prescribing and administration systems (ePMA)
- Extensive Medicines Management build knowledge and experience within Oracle-Cerner Millennium
- Awareness of national guidelines and relevant groups (e.g. NPSA)
- Relevant experience of teaching/training/education
- Clinical ward experience including consultant ward round attendance
