Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our service user who requires a Care Assistant to support a male adult with Down syndrome and dementia in Belfast. The primary focus of the role is to provide support with the daily exercise routine. To apply or learn more, please contact us by email with the subject REF0595. Responsibilities

• The main duties include accompanying the service user on daily walks and, where appropriate, supporting visits to a local gym for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours each day to encourage regular physical activity and wellbeing.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ideally, the successful applicant will have access to a car and be willing to occasionally transport the service user and his carer to hospital or other appointments when required.

Desirable Skills

• Applicants should preferably have at least 1 year of Care Assistant experience.
