Matalan is looking for an Assistant to support the PR & Social team with the execution and delivery of the PR, influencer, and social strategies.
Key Responsibilities of the PR & Social Assistant
PR, Influencers and Social Media Execution and Delivery:
- Support the creation of briefing and coordination of social media content & PR activities.
- Responsible for the sample management in liaison with the sample collation team for influencers – ensure samples are packaged and sent to relevant influencers and media in a timely manner to secure features
- Responsible for keeping trackers up to date and providing updates on sample status for social, influencers and PR plans.
Stakeholder Management:
- Ensure you are building relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders (Eg wider Marketing, Digital, Product Retail) through excellent communication of PR and Social activities
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to a culture of excellence by spotting emerging trends and cultural moments and bringing them to the wider team
What Matalan is looking for:
- Experience in a PR and/or social teams
- Project management skills
- Demonstration of previous use of analytical skills with attention to detail
- A natural collaborator with excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Passion for value fashion, trend awareness, and customer-centric marketing
