An exciting opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining a long-established charity in their newly built community centre.
The Elleray Centreis looking to recruit a reliable, practical and enthusiastic Facilities Coordinator to join their small, dedicated team.

The successful candidate will be:
- responsible, honest, and dependable
- practical, with experience in DIY and general maintenance
- calm under pressure and able to respond appropriately in emergencies, such as a fire or break-in
- a confident communicator, able to interact professionally with visitors and contractors
- knowledgeable about safe working practices and health and safety requirements
- familiar with basic building construction and maintenance
- well-organised, able to prioritise workloads, and work to agreed schedules
- comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team and, where required, supervising others
- flexible, adaptable, and happy to undertake a varied range of duties
- physically fit, as the role may involve moving equipment and occasional heavy lifting
- able to follow instructions whilst using initiative to resolve day-to-day issues
As part of a small team, adaptability and flexibility are essential. Every day is different, and you’ll need to respond positively to the changing needs of a busy community centre. In return, you will become an integral member of a friendly team whose work directly supports the continued success and growth of The Elleray Centre and the local community it serves.
