Working Hours:  37 Hours Per Week - Monday to Friday, flexible between the hours of 7:30am – 6:30pm

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: Grade G - starting salary of £37,563 per annum (Level one) rising to £40,444 per annum (Level four)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Strategic Housing Delivery Officer to help deliver Nottingham City Council’s housing regeneration and development ambitions. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in projects that create high-quality homes, strengthen communities, and support inclusive growth across Nottingham.

Working within Housing Services, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of regeneration and development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. You will work with a wide range of colleagues, elected members, developers, community representatives, and other stakeholders to bring projects forward from concept through to implementation.

The role involves monitoring project performance, supporting funding applications and financial management, contributing to development viability assessments, and preparing reports and briefings for senior leaders and councillors. You will also help secure investment opportunities and contribute to shaping inclusive regeneration approaches that reflect the needs of local communities.

This role would suit someone with strong organisational skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, and a passion for delivering positive outcomes through housing, regeneration, and partnership working. About You

The ideal candidate will have

1. Degree/higher level qualification or equivalent experience in affordable housing, regeneration, surveying, housing development, or related discipline.

2. Knowledge of current housing, regeneration and development policies, procedures and practices.

3. Experience of project management techniques.

4. Experience of supporting development projects ensuring agreed deadlines, costs and outcomes are realised in line with current project management principles.

5. Experience of working with a range of stakeholders and partners, to efficiently deliver a range planning and development projects that meet customer needs.

6. Ability to provide concise and accurate written technical advice and recommendations to support service development proposals.
