Electrician - 4-Day Work Week

Shift Patterns

Day Shift: Monday (07:00 - 17:15) and Tuesday to Thursday (07:00 - 16:45).

Night Shift: Monday (21:00 - 07:15) and Tuesday to Thursday (21:00 - 06:45).

Note: Shift times may vary slightly depending on work location within the facility.

£18.67/h (Day shift)

£24.89/h (Night shift)

£28.01/h for the first 10 hours

£37.34/h After 10 hours)

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret complex schematic drawings to plan assembly methods and sequences.
  • Perform diverse electrical tasks, including wiring, installation, terminations, connecting panels, crimping, and upfitting cable trays/ladder racks and conduits on gensets and enclosures.
  • Safely operate a wide variety of power and hand tools.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Strict compliance with site health, safety, quality standards, and the 5S programme.
  • Train and mentor other team members when required.
  • Maintain professional conduct aligned with company core values and support business improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Formal Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or an equivalent relevant electrical qualification.
  • Proven track record in electrical wiring, installation, terminations, panel connection, and conduit/cable tray fitting.
  • Experience working within a lean manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Physical capability to work at heights and in enclosed/confined work areas.
  • Strong attention to detail, a keen commitment to safety, and a proactive attitude.
  • Basic computer literacy is advantageous.
