Protocol Education is working with a warm, well-established nursery in BA1 that is looking to welcome a dedicated Room Leader to the team after half term.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Room Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring children receive the highest standard of care and education every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a nursery room and supporting a team of Early Years practitioners
- Planning and delivering engaging, child-led learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
- Monitoring children's development and celebrating their progress
- Creating exciting opportunities for children to learn through play and exploration
- Building positive partnerships with parents and carers
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing
- Creating an organised, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Modelling best practice and supporting the professional development of your team
You'll help create a positive culture where children, families, and staff feel valued and supported.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Has experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Is confident leading, motivating, and supporting a team
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
- Builds positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Is organised, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality early years provision
- Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine love of helping children thrive

What We Need to Clear You
To get you registered and ready for work, we'll need:
- Passport or proof of right to work in the UK
- Two proofs of address
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment and/or education, with any gaps explained
- References covering the last two years, including recent early years or childcare experience
- An overseas police check if you have lived abroad for three months or more within the last five years
