School Receptionist | South Manchester
We are working with a popular and thriving primary school in South Manchester to appoint a welcoming and organised School Receptionist. As the first point of contact, the receptionist plays a crucial role in representing the school’s professional and caring ethos. This is a permanent, full-time role for an ASAP start.
About the School This school is a traditional, high-achieving primary located in a residential area of South Manchester. It has a reputation for excellent student behaviour and strong parental engagement. The front office is a warm, busy hub, and the school is proud of its long-standing staff and "family" feel.
The Role The successful candidate will provide a high-quality front-of-house service, managing the busy school switchboard and greeting all visitors. Responsibilities include managing sign-in procedures, handling incoming post, and providing general administrative support to the office. The role requires high confidentiality and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Requirements
Experience: Previous reception or customer-facing experience is essential.
IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SIMS is highly desirable.
Compliance: The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK. A valid enhanced DBS is required.
