IT User Acceptance Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT User Acceptance Tester to support the implementation and testing of a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) within the Virology and Microbiology department at RSCH, Brighton. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in testing Clinisys Winpath 7 and supporting the build and validation of order communications via ICE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the implementation of Clinisys Winpath 7.
• Collaborate closely with the laboratory and IT teams to ensure accurate validation of test cases and workflows.
• Identify, document, and report system issues and discrepancies during testing phases.
• Support the configuration and testing of ICE order communications.
• Ensure the new LIMS aligns with laboratory operational needs and clinical requirements.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for system improvements and refinements.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to test planning and progress reporting.
• Maintain clear and accurate test documentation and reports.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience with IT systems testing, specifically within healthcare or laboratory settings.
• Hands-on experience with Clinisys Winpath 7 and knowledge of ICE order communications.
• Familiarity with LIMS systems, preferably in a clinical or pathology environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and compliance.
