Snr Medical Science Liaison (Obesity)
Senior Medical Science Liaison role supporting obesity therapeutic area at Amgen, based in the United Kingdom. Responsible for driving medical excellence through clinical trial support, stakeholder engagement, and scientific strategy execution across the national territory.
Responsibilities
- Support clinical trial start-up, site selection, enrollment, and close-out activities
- Identify and engage key opinion leaders, investigators, and research centers
- Lead peer-to-peer scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals and medical societies
- Provide scientific guidance and training to investigators and clinical teams
- Partner across functions to align clinical and medical strategy priorities
Requirements
- Scientific degree with biopharmaceutical industry experience
- Strong clinical trial expertise in study start-up and recruitment
- Knowledge of GCP and local regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to engage KOLs and lead scientific discussions
- Experience in metabolic diseases, obesity, or diabetes preferred
- Strategic thinking and independent problem-solving skills
