We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barking that is looking for a Midday Meal Supervisor to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference to their school experience.

The Role
As a Midday Meal Supervisor , you’ll play a key role in ensuring pupils have a safe and enjoyable lunchtime. You’ll supervise children in the dining hall and playground, encourage positive behaviour, and promote good manners and healthy eating habits.
Responsibilities
- Supervising pupils during the lunch period, both indoors and outdoors
- Encouraging positive play and social interaction
- Supporting children with any issues that arise, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
- Promoting good table manners and positive behaviour
- Helping to keep dining and play areas clean and tidy
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with or caring for children (school or community setting)
- A patient, caring and reliable attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive environment
- Punctual, responsible, and approachable
