- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within FMCG or food manufacturing
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage KPIs, quality standards, and technical documentation effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated, proactive, and hands-on approach
- Relevant HACCP and Health & Safety qualifications are desirable
- Leadership or management qualifications and GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above) are preferred
What you'll do
- Lead and motivate your production team to operate safely, efficiently, and to high standards
- Manage key performance indicators such as safety, quality, and productivity
- Assist in planning the department workload and optimise labour utilisation
- Drive standards for food safety, hygiene, and quality compliance
- Conduct investigations and performance reviews, fostering a culture of accountability and development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Technical and Dispatch
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and embed Lean principles across your team
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
