This role may require the post holder to work at other NSC Corporate Landlord maintained buildings.

Working within a corporate landlord environment, you will interact with a wide range of customers and stakeholders, delivering excellent service while carrying out room setups, minor repairs, building checks, and responding to requests from staff, teachers, community users, and partner organisations. No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and helping people.

Working as part of a team, your hours will be worked on a shift basis and will include evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities of the position would include the following activities:

  • Answering radio calls and responding to emails from Campus staff relating to daily issues such as building faults, waste removal, room set ups.
  • First line maintenance to include activities such as lamp replacements, unblocking toilets, putting up noticeboards and assembling furniture.

  • Carry out site safety checks and undertake porterage duties.
  • Basic outdoor upkeep (litter picking, gritting paths).
  • Travelling to Corporate Landlord maintained sites and carrying out compliance checks or soft FM duties.
  • Support CL Team with ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Regs.
