Supplementary Staffing Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fixed Term Supplementary Staffing Assistant to join our expanding Supplementary Staffing Team.

The team provides an essential support service to wards and departments by helping to coordinate supplementary staffing cover on an as-and-when-required basis. This role will support the recruitment, administration, communication and allocation processes required to ensure areas have access to appropriate supplementary staff when needed.

As the service continues to expand, the successful candidate will play an important part in supporting the team to provide supplementary staffing to additional areas within the hospital. Duties will include liaising with staff and managers, supporting shift fill processes, maintaining accurate records, assisting with payroll-related administration and contributing to the day-to-day running of a busy office-based service.

We are looking for an organised, proactive and approachable individual with good communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a team. The post will be fully office based during the training period, with scope for hybrid working once the successful candidate is fully trained and the role is fully established.
