We are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a busy finance team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll from start to finish. Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have got the right skills and experience, apply today.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll data including starters, leavers, sickness, maternity and employee changes.
Manage payroll using Sage Payroll , ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
Complete manual calculations and produce payroll reports.
Process HMRC updates, tax codes, student loans and third-party deductions.
Maintain pension records and ensure contributions are processed correctly.
Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers.
Work closely with HR and the Payroll Manager to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
Previous payroll administration experience.
Good understanding of payroll processes and legislation.
Sage Payroll experience is desirable.
Strong Excel and general IT skills.
Excellent attention to detail and numerical ability.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
CIPP qualification or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
