Lecturer In Construction Management FE & HE
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Lecturer in Construction Management to develop and deliver our Construction and Construction Management courses at our Built Environment Campus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality teaching and learning across a range of provision, including Apprenticeships, full-time and part-time Further and Higher Education programmes, T Levels, and other short-course learning as required. The role focuses on supporting learners to achieve their qualifications through effective teaching, assessment, progress monitoring, and strong employer engagement. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining schemes of work, lesson plans, learning resources, and assessment materials to ensure an engaging, inclusive, and high-quality learning experience.
The successful candidate will be qualified to at least Level 6 in Construction Management and desirably, bring experience in both Further and Higher Education teaching and curriculum development. They will support students in advancing the skills, knowledge, and behaviours that are directly transferable to the workplace, enabling them to effectively integrate theory with practice.
We particularly welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds in Construction Management, Surveying, and Design, and those with experience in the nuclear sector. Familiarity with T Levels in Construction is also advantageous.
