Location: University of Exeter International Study Centre

Salary: £35,000 per year, depending on experience

Band C

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to help keep our academic and residential buildings safe, compliant and operating at their best at the University of Exeter International Study Centre .

This is a hands-on role leading the day-to-day maintenance operation across our student accommodation and teaching facilities. You'll supervise maintenance activities, coordinate contractors, oversee planned and reactive repairs, and support the Facilities Manager in delivering a high-quality service for students, staff and visitors.

We're looking for a qualified electrician, with practical building maintenance experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to organise workloads and priorities in a busy environment. You'll be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and responding calmly to operational challenges when they arise. Good IT skills are essential, as you'll be responsible for maintaining records, monitoring compliance activities, producing reports, and managing maintenance information. Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is important.
