The Primary monitor pupil’s progress from the first day in the school and the teachers will discuss any problems with the parents as soon as possible so they can work together with parents to support the child. The Primary School are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant from February 2027 on a full time basis to support in their Reception class. The successful candidate will need to be proactive and be passionate about working with children, fully submerging yourself in the role, creating valued relationships with each child. You will need to be able to work with children that have mild additional learning needs including ASD and challenging behaviour so ideally having experience working with these characteristics previously would be beneficial for the role but is not a requirement. The successful Teaching Assistant will have: A Teaching Assistant/Childcare qualification OR at least 6 months experience working with children Fluent verbal and written Welsh Excellent communication and organisation skills Ability to build valued and trusted relationships with students A can-do, positive attitude and approach to their work Patience and ability to remain calm under stressful situations In return for the above you can expect to receive: A dedicated team of consultants available around the clock to help you with the easy onboarding process.
