Job Description Pertemps are delighted to be supporting our esteemed client in the recruitment of a Yard Operative in Coatbridge Location: Coatbridge(ML5)
Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary : £14.00 per hour
Overtime will be available, paid at time and a half/ double time
Work Schedule : Full-Time, 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Winter hours : 6am-3.45pm
Summer hours: 7am-4.45pm Responsibilities: · Loading and unloading of mats and other materials
· General yard duties including housekeeping and organisation
· Assisting with the movement and storage of stock within the yard
· Operating basic yard equipment in a safe manner
· Following site health & safety procedures at all times
· Supporting wider yard operations as required Essential Skills: · Previous yard operative experience preferable but not essential
· Physically fit with the ability to carry out manual tasks, including lifting and carrying.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Reliable with a strong work ethic.
