Teaching Assistant (Class-Based) - Primary / SEN Schools Location: Middleton

Start Date: ASAP Aspire People are looking to recruit a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to support primary and SEN school settings across Middleton. This is a class-based position working with pupils across a range of year groups, with a strong focus on supporting children with Special Educational Needs. The Role:
-Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
-Delivering targeted support to pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs
-Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning and support plans
-Providing 1:1 support and leading small group interventions where required
-Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and inclusion within the classroom environment Requirements:
-A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred)
-Previous experience working in a school-based TA role
-Strong SEN experience is essential
-Confidence supporting pupils across different primary age groups
-A flexible, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning Desirable:
-Experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
-Knowledge of behaviour support strategies and intervention delivery
-Team Teach or equivalent training (beneficial but not essential) What Aspire People Offer:
