The Role
An exciting National Account Manager role to join this growing business and help accelerate the growth of their Bath, Body and Skincare brands across the UK retail market. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines excellent account management skills with a genuine passion for winning new business and developing long-term retail partnerships.
You will be responsible for managing and growing key retail accounts while identifying and securing new opportunities within mass market retail customers including discounters, grocers and high street retailers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing strategic retail accounts.
- Building strong relationships with buyers and key stakeholders.
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities.
- Developing and delivering annual account plans.
- Managing customer forecasts, budgets and promotional activity.
- Owning account profitability and delivering against sales targets.
- Leading Critical Path management to ensure projects and launches are delivered on time.
- Preparing compelling customer presentations and business reviews.
- Working cross-functionally to drive execution and customer satisfaction.
The Person
We're looking for a commercially astute individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both managing existing business and opening new doors.
This role may also suit a National Account Executive/Key Account Manager who is ready and able to take the next step in their account management career.
You will ideally have:
- A background in the health and beauty sector, ideally across bath, body or skincare products.
- Experience within grocery, discount retail and high-volume channels with customers such as Primark, B&M Bargains, Poundland, The Range, Boots, Superdrug, Next, Tesco, Asda or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Experience working with masstige product ranges.
- Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of P&L management.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and functions such as VLOOKUP.
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
