Class 1 HGV Driver - Trunking
Pay: £18.04-£18.38 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing
Start Date: Assessments and starts from August 3rd
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for ongoing depot-to-depot trunking work with a nationally recognised logistics company.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
Start times from 4:00am
No nights out
The Role
- Depot-to-depot trunking
- Minimal or no handball
- Complete daily vehicle checks
- Follow transport schedules and route plans
- Drive in accordance with UK road transport legislation
- Complete all paperwork accurately
- Maintain professional communication with the transport team
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum of 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
- Good communication and timekeeping skills
- Professional and safety-focused attitude
