About the Role

As Teacher of Business Studies, you will teach primarily across KS4 and KS5, with the potential to contribute more widely depending on the curriculum offer and your experience. You will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that develop strong commercial understanding, analytical thinking and confident exam technique.

You will teach a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:

Secure understanding of core business concepts including enterprise, marketing, operations, finance and human resources
Confident analytical thinking through case-study discussion, data interpretation and evidence-based judgement
Application of business theory to real-world contexts and contemporary commercial issues
Strong evaluative writing through modelling, structured argument and precise feedback
Exam confidence through deliberate practice, purposeful revision and clear assessment guidance

Pupils may explore topics such as business ownership, growth, leadership, decision-making, external influences, financial performance and strategic planning. Lessons are designed to help them make meaningful connections between classroom learning and the wider business world, while developing the independence and academic discipline needed for GCSE and A-Level success.
