D&S Skip Services are looking for an experienced welder/fabricator to join our team.
39.5 hours per week. Hours are Monday – Thursday 07.30-16.30, and Friday 07.30-13.00
We’re looking for an experienced hands-on professional to join our new and rapidly expanding business, to help build and assemble skips and roll-on containers for the waste industry. Requires lifting and manual handling of heavy materials. Training is provided for the right candidate.
• MIG welding and fabrication
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Problem solving and thinking outside the box to get the job done.
• Forklift driving (preferred) General Workshop Duties
• Keep work areas clean and safe
• Ensure tools/equipment are maintained and functional
• Follow all health & safety procedures
• Operating workshop tools: cutting, bending, drilling, grinding using both handheld and heavy plant (3mtr guillotine and 4mtr 150T press-brake)
