IQVIA seeks a Clinical Research Associate II to conduct site qualification, monitoring, and close-out activities for clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas. The role offers embedded partnership with leading pharmaceutical sponsors, combining specialist program expertise with IQVIA's global infrastructure and career support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits per protocol and GCP/ICH guidelines
- Ensure investigational sites maintain patient safety, data integrity, protocol compliance, and study quality standards
- Build relationships with investigators and site staff; provide training and guidance throughout study lifecycle
- Monitor study progress including regulatory documentation, patient enrollment, data queries, and site performance
- Maintain inspection-ready documentation including Investigator Site Files and Trial Master Files
Requirements
- University degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years on-site clinical trial monitoring experience in CRO or pharma environment
- Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel up to 40–60% within assigned region
- Right to work in UK and Ireland; visa sponsorship not available
