SENCO - Dynamic Secondary School in Bath - September Start!
A forward-thinking and dynamic secondary school in Bath is seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to lead its SEND provision from September. The successful SENCO will oversee all aspects of SEND provision, ensuring that students with additional needs are effectively supported to achieve their full potential.

The Role
The school is looking for an organised and strategic SENCO who can lead SEND provision while working closely with staff, families, and external agencies.
Key responsibilities of the SENCO include:
Leading and managing SEND provision across the school
Overseeing and reviewing EHCPs and support plans
Coordinating interventions and monitoring student progress
Supporting staff with inclusive teaching strategies and differentiation
Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals
Ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and school policies

The successful SENCO will:
Hold QTS and the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be willing to complete it)
Have strong experience working within SEND provision
Demonstrate excellent organisational and leadership skills
Have a clear understanding of SEND legislation and best practice
Be committed to improving outcomes for all students
