Finance Manger-Day Shift-£15.50 to £17.50 per hour DOE-Swindon

Our client is located in the Swindon area, accessible by public transport

Requirements:

· Proven experience in similar role ideally in the manufacturing industry, an auditing or advisory firm.

· Ability to manage and optimise growing accounting, controlling and tax processes as the central contact person within the organisation.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

· Degree in accounting, Finance or related field.

· Eagerness to grow and to take on more responsibility in the future.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

· Familiarity with ERP systems like proAlpha or SAP S/4HANA is preferable.

Hours and pay:

·8am till 5pm. Monday-Friday with occasional flexible hours to meet deadlines

·£15.50 to £17.50 per hour DOE

Job Responsibilities for our client in Swindon:

· Oversee all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.

· Prepare timely monthly financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.

· Provide support for preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, report variances, and analyse financial data to support decision-making.

· Coordinate and oversee the preparation of tax returns.

· Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

· Coordinate and oversee external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

· Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, and support month-end and year-end close processes.
