Geography Teacher – Champion Local Fieldwork and Lead Sustainability Initiatives in a High-Attaining Essex School – Chelmsford
An academically focused secondary school in Chelmsford is seeking an experienced and analytical Geography Teacher with expertise in Fieldwork and Environmental Geography from January 2026.
- Geography Teacher required from January 2026
- Chelmsford-based school known for its strong scholarly atmosphere and focus on practical application.
- Seeking a specialist to deliver rigorous curriculum content and lead Fieldwork planning for all key stages.
You will teach Geography across KS3-KS5. The role includes planning lessons that develop complex analytical skills related to environmental systems, and leading mandatory fieldwork to prepare students for challenging exam components and university study.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) and a relevant degree in Geography.
- Proven ability to secure high grades at A-Level Geography .
- Extensive experience in planning and leading safe and effective fieldwork.
- Willingness to contribute to academic enrichment programs, such as geographical debate clubs.
