Working alongside leading Consultants, nursing teams and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will manage a varied specialist caseload while helping us develop and expand our pelvic health service. About the role: We are a collaborative Therapies team focused on providing personalised, evidence-based rehabilitation that supports each patient's clinical needs and quality of life. In this role, you will assess and treat patients with complex pelvic health conditions across urogynaecology, colorectal services, obstetrics and men's health. You will have the autonomy to manage your own specialist caseload, while working closely with consultants, nursing teams and other clinical colleagues. We are also looking for someone who wants to help us grow the service, raise awareness of pelvic health physiotherapy and identify new ways to improve patient outcomes and experience. This is a part time role working 25 hours per week. However, we will also consider applications from candidates seeking full time hours. Essential
BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy
HCPC registration
Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP)
Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Significant experience working within Women's Health and/or Pelvic Health Physiotherapy at Band 6 or Band 7 level
Experience managing patients across:
Strong clinical reasoning and advanced assessment skills
Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Competence in using pelvic floor training devices and outcome measures
Desirable
Postgraduate qualifications or accredited training in Women's Health/Pelvic Health
Membership of the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) professional network
Experience working within the NHS or wider public sector
Experience undertaking audit, service evaluation and quality improvement projects

- Manage a specialist caseload autonomously, delivering highly personalised treatment programmes and rehabilitation plans.
- Support the development and growth of pelvic health services, measuring success through patient outcomes, activity levels and service improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with Consultants, nursing teams and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure outstanding patient care.
- Promote awareness of pelvic health physiotherapy through education, training and specialist advice.
- Contribute to service development, clinical audit, quality improvement projects and evidence-based practice.
- Support teaching, supervision and mentorship of colleagues and students where appropriate.
- Participate in service planning and help identify opportunities to enhance patient experience and service delivery.
