Supply Science Teacher (Secondary) - Plymouth - September Start
Are you a dedicated Secondary Science Teacher seeking a professional and flexible teaching arrangement for September 2026? We are currently recruiting qualified educators for day-to-day and general supply cover bookings across various secondary schools in Plymouth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for teachers who prioritise professional autonomy and a balanced schedule.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, pre-planned Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Provide adaptable general subject cover as required by the host institutions.
- Maintain a structured, safe, and positive learning environment consistent with individual school policies.
- Ensure the continuous safety and well-being of all pupils throughout the school day.
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or extensive relevant UK secondary teaching experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of the UK Secondary National Curriculum.
- Requirement to hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to initiate this process immediately.
- Reliable transport to commute to secondary schools within the Plymouth area.
