Your new role

• An exciting opportunity for a Trainee Finance Assistant to join our Finance team.

• You’ll be responsible for purchase ledger invoice processing and payment runs.

• Raising purchase orders for invoices when necessary.

• Processing staff expenses and checking supplier statements against supplier accounts.

• Maintaining the timesheet portal, ensuring accuracy against the portal and recorded absence.

• Supporting with general supplier / customer queries.

About you

We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to start their career in Finance. We will provide on-the-job training with a supportive team environment.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred, but not essential.

• IT proficient, with a confidence in using systems.

• Strong numerical skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum National 5 Maths and English, or equivalent.
