We’re working with a vibrant and growing special school supporting pupils aged 5–19 with moderate and severe learning difficulties, autism, ADHD, and social communication needs. What you’ll be doing Delivering engaging, multi-sensory lessons tailored to individual learning needsCreating practical, creative learning experiences that help students thriveSupporting pupils to develop important everyday life skills and independenceUsing ICT and assistive technology to boost communication and engagementBuilding positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleaguesAdapting your teaching style throughout the day to meet sensory and emotional needsWorking closely with a supportive team who genuinely care about each other and the pupils they supportEncouraging progress in learning, behaviour, confidence, and communication, however big or small the steps may be What they’re looking for QTS or QTLSExperience working within a primary or SEND settingStrong communication, literacy, and numeracy skillsA calm, flexible, and caring approachSomeone who believes every child deserves the chance to shine ECTs are very welcome to apply.
