Warehouse Operative
Shepshed | £12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5:00pm Are you looking for a new opportunity within a warehouse environment? Our client, based in Shepshed, is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and is looking to work as part of a friendly and supportive warehouse team. The Role
As a Warehouse Operative , you will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping to ensure goods are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You will work as part of a team to help maintain a safe, tidy and organised warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities * Receive and check incoming goods.
* Pick and pack orders accurately.
* Prepare goods for dispatch.
* Load and unload deliveries safely.
* Move stock around the warehouse as required.
* Assist with stock checks and inventory counts.
* Ensure stock is stored correctly.
* Maintain good standards of warehouse housekeeping.
* Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines.
* Use PPE and warehouse equipment correctly.
* Report any damaged goods, stock issues or safety concerns.
* Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
* Carry out any other general warehouse duties as required. About You
We're looking for someone with: * Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
* A reliable and hardworking approach.
* Good attention to detail.
* The ability to work well as part of a team.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Good timekeeping and attendance.
* The ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
* A commitment to working safely.
* A forklift licence would be desirable but is not essential. What You'll Be Responsible For
Success in the role will include: * Accurate picking and packing.
* Supporting smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
* Maintaining stock accuracy.
* Meeting daily workloads and deadlines.
* Maintaining good housekeeping standards.
* Following health & safety procedures.
* Working positively and effectively as part of the warehouse team. Salary & Hours
Pay: £12.71 per hour
