About Us
A welcoming and supportive primary school is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys teaching across a range of year groups while providing high-quality cover during teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons and ensuring continuity of learning in a positive and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 to cover teachers' PPA time.
* Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported to achieve their best.
* Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different classes, age groups, and learning abilities.
* Follow lesson plans where provided and confidently deliver well-structured lessons that maintain continuity of learning.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting high expectations and positive relationships.
* Assess pupils' understanding during lessons and provide appropriate feedback to class teachers.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support colleagues to contribute to the wider success of the school.
* Uphold safeguarding procedures and maintain high standards of professionalism at all times. Requirements * Is adaptable, organised, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff quickly.
* Delivers engaging and creative lessons that inspire a love of learning.
* Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a calm, supportive learning environment.
